Job Description:
HCSS Estimator
Greenfield, MA

We’re currently seeking an experienced Estimator to work in our District
office in Greenfield, MA. The candidate must be familiar with the HCSS
Estimating System with primary focus on structure/bridge takeoff and be
responsible for picking off work (quantities, etc.) from plans and specs;
transferring pickoffs into various work items and activities; and
assigning production rates. HCSS codebook programming and maintenance
will NOT be required.
Requirements include:
· 5 - 10 years of experience in similar role in the construction
industry
· Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction
Management; Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
preferred
· Working knowledge of HCSS, and MS Word and Excel
· Ability to conceptualize quantities and costs from plans and specs
· Understanding of construction means and methods
· Ability to recognize crew requirements based on different
varieties of work
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
