Job Description:
Our client has an immediate need for an Application Administrator. The
Application Administrator will act as an internal consultant and provide
ongoing maintenance and configuration of enterprise applications used
throughout the company, currently Salesforce.com and OpenAir. A successful
candidate will work well with virtually all departments within the
business.
Our client uses Salesforce.com as a corporate repository for Operations,
Sales, Marketing, and Corporate Development information. We have
significantly customized the application and will continue to do so as the
business evolves. We are deploying OpenAir to manage tasks, time, and
expenses for a number of projects. OpenAir is a new application to the
company and will require a keen eye for configuration and deployment. The
two applications will be integrated to each other, as well as with other
applications in the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Training
Train new hires for Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Corporate
Development.
Answer ad hoc user questions.
Develop and maintain training material where appropriate.
Data Maintenance
Ensure data cleanliness on a routine basis.
De-duplicate Accounts and Contacts.
Import data from external sources.
Reporting
Create dashboards and reports to measure performance.
Application Deployment
Assist in OpenAir deployment.
Improve existing Salesforce implementation.
Scope integration between applications.
Integrate applications into the Call Center, including VOIP.
Required Qualifications/Skills/Education:
BA/BS in engineering, mathematics, computer science, or other related
fields.
A minimum of two to four years experience in application consulting, IT,
or software development.
A minimum of two years experience with Salesforce.com.
Strong knowledge of SQL on Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, or other major
databases.
Ability to apply creativity and objectivity to design and implement
solutions to real business problems.
Strong self-motivation with the ability to work in a fast paced, forward
moving environment, as well as a passion for Salesforce.com.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Must utilize these
skills to communicate effectively across all groups in the organization.
Ability to work with business users and systems personnel in a team
environment.
Willingness and desire to learn new applications and technologies.
Desired Qualifications/Skills/Education:
Experience in energy management and technology.
Masters in computer science or business administration.
Knowledge of JavaScript, Java, HTML, and other web technologies.
