Job Description:
Associate Product Manager
General Responsibilities:
Formulate and make recommendations for plans, programs and strategies for
the profitable management of product lines. Responsible for the
coordination of new product development efforts and new product
introductions.
Duties:
· Recognize new product opportunities and make recommendations
accordingly.
· Develop and execute marketing plans that build consumer loyalty,
customer support and come in on budget.
· Assist in analyzing market and sales potential, develop
profitability and investment estimates.
· Guide R&D in designing packaging and merchandising.
· Understand strategy of key customers and work with Field Sales
in the creation of customized product programs.
· Understand competitor’s strategies and tactics. Monitor
competitive marketing successes and failures and incorporate in product
line strategy.
· Deliver the required profit of product line by managing dollar
revenue, unit sales, and bringing marketing programs in within budget.
· Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Bacelor's Degree in Marketing or related area and minimum of 2 years in
consumer or hardware product environment
Strategic/Analytical thinking
Strong leadership and communication skills; Ability to lead cross
functional team
Excellent understanding of consumers and customers
Superior leadership and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments
simultaneously
